Are you satisfied with your performance? Your car’s performance,
that is? If you are not or if you have wondered how you can
crank higher power out of your engine, then I have some good news
for you: you can do it with an engine tuning programmer. Yes,
within minutes you can turn your ordinary passenger car into a
road warrior without having to pop the hood or by removing the
dashboard. It is a quick, easy, and awesome way to unleash farther
power from your car’s engine.

The aftermarket parts industry is constantly coming up with
everything you need to enhance your vehicle’s look as well as
its improve performance. On the performance side of things
custom air filters, cold air intakes, and exhaust systems are
much sought after options for car enthusiasts. In addition,
performance chips are being installed by owners who desire to
turn their ordinary cars into something extraordinary.

While performance chips are a great way to increase torque and
bang out extended horsepower, they are invasive. This means you must
either pop the hood or remove the dashboard to locate your
current chip, swap it out, and replace it with the new one.
Fortunately, technicians have invented tuning modules that work
by simply hooking it into your under dash diagnostic connector.
Once you are “wired” all you will need to do is answer a series
of yes/no questions and the programmer does the rest. When you
are done, you can disconnect the programmer and enjoy your now
potent vehicle.

Power programmers, including those developed by Hypertech, fit
right into the palm of your hand. Each programmer is custom
developed for your make/model, so you must specify the vehicle
you own or it won’t work for you. Popular vehicles that can
benefit from tuning programmer include: the Dodge Ram; Jeep
Wrangler, Cherokee, and Gran Cherokee; the Ford “F” series pick
ups and Mustang; and several GM models including the Corvette,
Firebird, Camaro, and many full size pick up trucks.

There are several benefits in using a power programmer,
including:

–Increased horsepower

–Increased torque

–Increased fuel economy - yes, an efficiently tuned engine gets
the number one fuel mileage.

–Optimized tuning - tune for 87 octane or 91 octane fuel.

No you don’t have to be mechanic or a computer programmer to
work with a power tuner. Everything you need is stored right
inside your little hand held device. What’s fresh, if you decide
that you want to return your car to its OEM specifications, you
can do that in mere moments. Try swapping out a performance chip
that quickly!

Of course, power tuners aren’t for everyone. If you are
satisfied with the status quo or aren’t looking to get the edge
while driving, then you are likely to pass on the experience.
For everyone else, a power tuner is an affordable and non
invasive way to turn an ordinary passenger car into a true road
rocket.

Air Cleaner Filters

This article provides useful, detailed information about Air Cleaner Filters.

Air filters trap small particles from the air, thus providing cleaner air. There are various types of air filters. The finer the filters, the better the filter system works, since it thus captures a larger percentage of airborne particles. There are three types of air filters.

HEPA Filters (high efficiency particulate arresting filters) are said to be the number one because of their ability to trap up to 99% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size. However, very minute molecules, such as gas and tobacco smoke, are still able to pass through these filters. Pleated filters (also known as ‘media filters’) use the same materials as the HEPA filter, but are less efficacious because they are less tightly packed. Gas Phase Filters are less popular, since they only remove odors and fumes, but not any particulate matters.

There are a few guidelines that you need to follow before selecting the right type of air cleaner filters. The most important is to ensure that the filter has UL and Class II FDA approval, which simply means that the product is capable and in good condition. How capable is the filter? What are its capabilities in regards to removing substances and particles? To find out, see if the efficiency rate is in accordance with a ‘True HEPA (high efficiency particulate air)’ or better.

True HEPA means the filter must be able to capture at least 90% of all particles 0.3 microns or in addition in diameter. Check out the device’s CADR rate (clean air delivery rate). The device should be able to cycle enough air to change every four to six minutes in the particular environment. The filter should be easy to clean and change. A Look At Allergy Products

Do allergy products really make a difference? Plenty of specialty products exist, and if you are looking, you can you find products for every room in the home and practically every part of your body. HEPA air filters and filters for your vacuum cleaner; 100% pure cotton bedding and pillows; masks that you can wear at work, at play and at home; cleaning supplies; cases to stuff your mattresses in; throat moisturizers; cosmetics; dehumidifiers; toys that can be washed; the list goes on and on.

Take a peek on the Internet and you’ll find pages of websites offering allergy products of all sorts and all price ranges. Allergy products are big business and to allergy sufferers, these products look to be the answer to all of their suffering.

If you suffer from allergies, you too might be tempted to jump on the allergy products bandwagon. Before you do, it’s important to realize that the answer to whether any of these products work or not is a bit fresh complicated than it seems on the surface.

Several allergy-related issues need to be addressed before you whip out your credit card. Otherwise the allergy products you select might not be the great deal you had expected. First of all, be certain you know what it is you are allergic to. Are you allergic to pet dander, dust mites, food, grass, or what? If you know, that’s great. If you don’t, you might want to first go through a round of allergy tests to determine your nemesis.

Once you know what it is you are allergic to you then need to spend some time reading the descriptions of the allergy products before you purchase any. Why? Because the allergy products you may be interested in might not be designed to alleviate the allergens that cause your problems. For example, the purpose of an air filter is to remove airborne allergens, the ones that spend the majority of their time suspended in air, like pet dander.

Dust mite droppings are only in the air a short time, when they’re first released or when a vacuum cleaner stirs them up from their resting place on the ground. An expensive air filter won’t benefit you if you are sensitive to dust mites. However, a casing to enclose your mattress or your pillows will, as these are designed to keep the allergens from coming into contact with you.

Getting back to air filters, most are not effectual for dealing with plant-based allergens, even though these are considered airborne allergens. In the case of ragweed, grass clippings and other such irritants, it is better to keep these from entering the home in the first place by closing doors and windows and running an air conditioner.

Are you beginning to understand what is involved with selecting the right allergy products? When in doubt, the greatest advice is to discuss the subject of allergy products with your allergist. You’re major likely to get an accurate, unbiased answer to your questions about allergy products.
