Stress in our personal and professional lives is ever changing and constantly on the rise. Everyday were expected to do higher and likewise with less and less - less resources, less energy and less time. In order to master the ability to manage stress, its important to first remove one of the biggest obstacles that stands between chaos and calm - SELF. Often we are one of the biggest contributors to the calamity and chaos we experience in our lives. Stress management is the recognition that life is all about the choices we make. Starting today, choose to take control and follow these simple tips to help you lead a stress-less lifestyle.

* Choose To Be Short on Complaints, Long on Praise Far too often, we are quick as a whip to complain when we feel we have been wronged, yet we are not as quick to lavish praise. Complaining about every little thing is very stressful and draining. Instead of complaining, why not contribute. Starting today, make a point to praise those who have had a positive impact on your life from the cashier who didnt pack your bread on the bottom of the bag, to the mechanic who didnt scare you into an unnecessary repair, to the neighbor who is willing to baby sit on ten minutes notice. Doing so will not only make you feel good, but will make a difference in a positive way and make someone else feel great.

* Choose To Love The Skin Youre In Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, known for her acting talents and physical beauty, recently took a bold step many of us would shutter at the thought of she posed for a magazine minus make-up in a crop top and shorts. She posed for all the world to see the real beauty she is a confident women who doesnt definite herself by other peoples standards.

Chasing after beauty defined by others (media, family, friends, spouse, co-workers and others) is detrimental to your peace of mind. Be bold and love the skin youre in right now crooked nose, warts, corns, receding hairline, wrinkles, sags, bulges and all. Appreciate your natural beauty and love yourself just the way you are.

* Choose To Pass On Perfection Think of how many things dont get done because someone is waiting for the perfect time, place and circumstance. Working with perfection as your standard is both a mental and physical drain. Lose the need to get everything done perfect. Know that its far better to accomplish a task at 85% perfection than to procrastinateand wait for 100% perfection.

Remember that a stress-less life is all about choice what are you going to choose today?

Setting Up Your Office For “Health”Dr. Loretta Lanphier, ND, CCN, HHP If you work and are spending one third to one half of your day in an office setting then your surroundings there are as important as those in your home. Although we usually have little control over the buildings we work in, being aware of problems that can affect us will enable us to take counter-measures and may encourage the creation of stimulating and nurturing environments. Below are 10 steps that will help to provide an office that is balanced and conducive to good health and well-being, which will ultimately benefit your health and the health your company.

1) Ergonomically Correct Chair: Make sure that your chair is comfortable and has adjustable height and arms. When you are sitting straight with feet flat on the floor your arms should be at a 90-degree angle when typing on the computer. If you are having to strain or stretch to reach your computer then you are putting stress on the back and shoulder area. Chairs can certainly be expensive but in the long run it will cost much less than spending time at the chiropractor.

2) Green Plants: Plants do higher than just enhance the beauty of your surroundings, many actually clean pollutants out of the air as they add oxygen and humidity to the indoor environment. New findings suggest, however, that they may add innumerable than just color and interest. They also filter the air, and can fight against the common high-tech ill, sick building disease. Recent research undertaken by the NASA Space Administration in America has yielded some very interesting results. In a test lasting two years conducted by Dr. B.C. Wolverton at the Stennis Space Centre in Mississippi it was discovered that common houseplants are capable of converting chemical air pollutants into harmless substances. Ivy, one of the smallest of houseplants, does an excellent job of cleaning the air of toxins, especially benzene and TCE. The humble potted Chrysanthemum is another goodie. You can place a number of plants around your office or make up a high scoring clean-air cocktail by adding such plants as Peace Lilies and Parlour Palms. Better still are various forms of Dracaena, Dracaena Warnecki and Dracaena Janet Craig are real pollutant sucking types. Chinese Evergreen and the humble Philoderdron are also two to watch out for.

3) Lighting: Studies suggest that natural light increases human productivity and reduces fatigue and stress. By simply replacing your antiquated fluorescent tubes with full-spectrum tubes, you can instantly enhance your environment and your well-being! Full spectrum lighting emits a natural, balanced spectrum of light that is the closest you can get to sunlight indoors. Based on years of study not only do they bring out true, vibrant colors but they can also ease eye fatigue, improve your mood, reduce cortisol (stress hormone) levels, slow aging of the retina and reduce glare.

4) Aromatherapy: Aromatherapy is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being. Not only does the aroma of the natural essential oil stimulate the brain to trigger a reaction, but the natural constituents (naturally occurring chemicals) of the essential oil are drawn into the lungs and can also supply physical benefit. Aromatherapy can help with a physical condition, can help with symptoms, can affect your mood, or help alleviate or temporarily eliminate stress or other psychological factors. Scenting your office with Lavender essential oil is said to reduce computer errors at least 25%. The following is a good blend to use in the office (must have an aromatherapy diffuser): 2 drops of lemon, orange or bergamot; 2 drops of grapefruit; 1 drop ylang ylang, rose or neroli. Multiply your blend by 4 to obtain a total of 20 drops of your chosen blend. Add your oils to a dark colored glass bottle and mix well by rolling the bottle in between your hands. Add the appropriate number of drops from your created blend to your diffuser by following the manufacturers instructions. There are also many recipes on the Internet to use during the cold and flu season when office-air can be extremely contagious.

5) Air Quality: The EPA informs us that 6 out of 10 buildings are “sick” and that indoor air quality is the United States’ number one environmental health problem. A recent study by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture found that ionizing a room led to 52% less dust in the air, and 95% less bacteria in the air (since many of the pollutants found in the air reside on floating dust particles). The U.S.D.A. also performed another study to test the efficaciousness of negative ionization at removing airborne Salmonella Enteritidis. The negative ions drastically reduced the airborne salmonella particles, prompting the following statement from the USDA. I recommend a negative ion air purifier for the office setting. These units are small enough to fit on a credenza or desk and are very modestly priced.

6) EMF Protection: Detrimental energies from electromagnetic fields emitted from high tension wires, industrial radar, microwave beams, electric current, computers, cell phones, televisions, fluorescent lights and other electrical appliances have been found to be dangerous to mental and physical health. When an individual sleeps or works for extensive periods within electromagnetic frequency zones, these energies create a constant source of stress (altering body polarity) which can lead to fatigue, frustration, tension and illness. Signs of exposure may include drowsiness, chronic aches and pains, sleep disorders, irritability, low energy and general malaise and may lead to further serious health situations such as cancer. These highly disruptive energy fields actually numb or dull our sense perceptions and adversely impacts brain wave activity. Studies have also shown electromagnetic fields (EMF) to induce mild depression in many subjects with the disruption of melatonin, dopamine, and serotonin levels. There are many devices that can be used in the office or put on the computer that will give EMF protection. I recommend the Safe Space II. It is designed to neutralize harmful electromagnetic fields, geopathic disturbances, as well as other detrimental vibrational energies in environments. It is a framed holographic grid (encased behind glass) 2 x 2 and can be attached to any surfaceespecially the computer monitor. The Safe Space II device clears a spherical area with a 9 radius. You can read likewise about it at www.ghchealth.com.

7) Colors: Color therapy has its roots in ancient Egypt. Scientific studies recognize that colors bring about emotional reactions to individuals. Our reactions and attitudes to colors differ from person to person. That color affects us all is an undoubted fact. Its significance has been investigated and the results utilized in merchandizing, selling, home decorating, the workplace environment, industry, plant growth, nutrition, physics, physiology, psychology, ecclesiasticism and art. In fact, color is so much a part of our lives that we tend to take it for granted. Colors that are useful in the office are: orange stimulates creativity; yellow intensifies the intellect and heightens motivation; red energizes; blue calming, fights physical and mental tension; green fights irritability and has a healing effect on the body. For the office, use colors that you are drawn to as these are the colors that will benefit your health.

8) Music: Just about all offices have some type of music playing in the background. Music can affect emotional well-being, physical health, social functioning, communication abilities, and cognitive skills. Music in the workplace, either from piped-in music or from a radio, is sometimes used to mask sounds. Music can provide mental stimulation while performing monotonous tasks, which can help to reduce stress levels in the office. Some people, however, find music in the office intensely annoying, especially if it is too loud or inappropriate. I have found that soft, up-lifting music is very essential to the office atmosphere. There is literally a mirage of good background music available on CDs. Search out the Internet on what is right for your office.

9) Breaks: Even the most focused person needs a break at least twice a day. Change of scenery also helps with emotions. One of the outstanding ways to eliminate stress and recharge the body is to go outside for a ten-minute walk. Focus on your surroundings and take deep breaths. This will give you a renewal of energy and will also aid in Vitamin D production. Walk by yourself and focus on clearing your mind. Walking will also get the blood and the lymphatic system flowing.

10) Organization: It is an excellent idea to look into Feng Shui for the office. Feng Shui is basically an environmental science and gives advice on how to create environments in which we feel comfortable and supported. For example, water energy plays a significant role in Feng Shui. Having a small fountain in your office can give a sense of calmness and peacefulness. Keep your office clean and organized. There is no excuse for clutter. Make sure that your desk is clean and that everything is put away before you leave each day. A well-organized, uncluttered desk leads to clear thinking and reduces stress. Make a habit of putting items back in their original place after you are finished using them.

Putting in the extra time, effort and money in getting your office environment healthy will pay-off with a multitude of health benefits. Of course, it is assumed that when you are out of the office, you are also taking care of yourself by eating a healthy diet, exercising the body and mind, taking good supplementation and getting adequate rest. All of this goes hand-in-hand in getting and keeping the body healthy. Remember to address your attitude as you travel the path to good health, as negative attitudes are self-destructive. Good health requires desire, determination and discipline in every aspect of your life.

Run a Contest: Build a Large Opt In List Targeted for Your Products

Run contests on your website (or include surveys and polls) to grab opt-ins for your newsletter then put your new subscribers to work for you.

A contest at your web site works on the same principle as signing up for a contest to win a free dinner at a local restaurant. Both parties get something of value (you get their contact information and they win a prize). Make sure that the registration for this contest is SIMPLE. Your visitor should not have to spend higher than a minute or two to complete the task - otherwise, they’ll frequently opt-out and leave your site before you’ve had a chance to get their email address.

To run a contest find a prize, set a date, create the terms and conditions and promote.

Pick the prize that you think will get your most targeted visitors to your site, for instance if you run a site on air purification you might want to give away an air purifier. Why, because you are seeking to target your list for your products and services. The prize relates directly to the target market, people who have indoor air pollution issues. Giving away $5000 will create several opt ins to your list very quickly but you will create a list of people who are seeking a cash prize, not a list of people who may eventually be interested in your air purification products. After all the goal is not the size of the list but the responsiveness of it.

Set the date for the contest. Run short contests for 3 reasons. Reason 1. This will give you the chance to contact your subscribers very quickly by announcing that the contest has been completed. Any opportunity you have to connect to your subscribers is a good one. Your subscribers will become familiar to your list if you build a relationship with them. What better way they to announce the winner and provide them with some costly information at the same time.

Reason 2. You can promote your contest for free at contest directories. The promotion time is short lived. You will get a burst of subscribers for a few days and then it will taper off. If you run short contest you can submit your contest fresh often keep a revolving door of new subscribers coming to your site.

Reason 3. You can keep your subscribers coming back to your site time and time again using your list and your contest. Contact your winner with a personal email. Ask their permission to post their testimonial on your site with a picture if possible. Next send an announcement to your list stating the winner has been posted on the site. Please visit the site to see if you have won the prize. Viola your visitors will keep coming back.

Be sure to include terms and conditions with your contest. Find similar contest review their terms and conditions and work from there. It is probably greatest to have your lawyer review the terms if you have something of value to lose. State that the winner must have a valid email address to win. You never want to give a prize away to someone how enters bogus information just to win. A valid email address on your list is a must. I also put this right on the sign up form to deter junk entries.

The mechanics of the contest entries are simple you can runa contest or a poll with an autoresponder. Use their form and tracking idea and you are all set to take entries, keep can spam compliant and email your new subscribers.

To market your contest and draw a ton of free visitors to your site hunt down contest directories and contest announcement lists at Yahoo and Topica. :

Open up notepad and create a little cut and paste text file to use when you start submitting your contest to directories.

Key points to include in your notepad document. the directories will ask for.
*Title of your contest
*Description of your contest
*Description of your prize with value
*Contact information
*Link to your terms and conditions
*Link to your contest sign up page
*Date your contest is over
*Special rules like: Must be over 18 to enter, USA only,
*Entry schedule: Is this a one time entry or can contestants enter extra than once.

In less than 24 hours you should start seeing new opt ins if you have a compelling prize. Your new list will be targeted and ready to receive information on your products.

The Uranium Bull Market Keeps Getting More Bullish

China Demand for Uranium, World Growth in Electricity Demand to
Drive Uranium Price Higher

Industry expert says all new production already factored in
uranium price “We are consuming far increased uranium than we are
producing worldwide,” explained David Miller, Wyoming legislator
and recently appointed president of Strathfurther Resources (TSX-V:
STM; OTC: STHJF.PK). “All the new production is already factored
into the future market for uranium. We’re underwater right now
without building one likewise nuclear power plant.” Nuclear reactor
requirements have far outstripped current mining production for
the past two decades. Current worldwide production is massed than
80 million pounds, but the demand for uranium, which fuels
nuclear reactors, is running an annual deficit of approximately
60 million pounds.

Electricity: Uranium’s Supply and Demand Problem

“We’re not going to run out of uranium, but where will the price
go to encourage new production?” asked David Miller. “We are
around over $33/pound now. Could it double again? It wouldn’t
surprise me at all.” Kevin Bambrough, a research analyst for
Sprott Asset Management, heartily agreed with Mr. Miller,
saying, “We have just started a long term uranium bull market
that will end in a ‘uranium mania’ as utilities and countries
drive uranium prices to unbelievable highs as they compete to
secure supplies.”

That driving force is demand for further electricity. Over the past
25 years, total world energy use expanded by almost 50 percent,
with stronger growth in electricity usage. Demand for
electricity is increasing far greater rapidly than overall energy
use. Electricity demand has been projected to grow 2.8 percent
annually through 2010, and substantially extra between then and
2020. About 2 billion people currently have no electricity
access, and with United Nations forecasts of world population
growth by 1.5 billion people in 2020, electricity demand will
continue to grow.

As an interim solution to the greenhouse gas problem and climate
changes, a growing number of countries are investigating nuclear
energy to solve their burden of a soaring electrical demand.
Presently, there is as much electricity generated by nuclear
power as was provided by all sources worldwide in 1960.

Nuclear power generates further than 16 percent of the world’s
electricity, nearly 24 percent of the OECD and 34 percent of the
European Union’s electricity needs. In an April 2005 speech to
the National Small Business Conference in Washington, President
Bush announced, “Nuclear power is now providing about 20 percent
of America’s electricity, with no air pollution or greenhouse
gas emissions. Nuclear power is one of the safest, cleanest
sources of power in the world, and we need farther of it here in
America.”

Demand for electricity is projected to impact other commodities
as well, not just the price of uranium. In the Energy
Information Agency’s Annual Energy Outlook 2005, U.S.
electricity demand will bring about increases in natural gas
consumption. By 2025, the electric power sector will account for
31 percent of total demand for natural gas, as consumption
increases from 5.0 trillion cubic feet in 2003 to 9.4 trillion
cubic feet in 2025.

China’s Demand May Be Greater Than Anticipated

Today, 441 nuclear power reactors in 31 countries provide higher
than 16 percent of the world’s electricity. In 2003, that was
2525 billion kilowatt hours. Eleven countries are constructing
thirty increased reactors, foremostly in China, but also in Russia, Japan
and Korea. The International Atomic Energy Agency has projected
at least 60 new power plants will be constructed over the next
15 years. By 2020, nuclear power’s electricity production share
will increase to 17 percent.

“China is the future wild card,” said Miller. “Their current
uranium demand is miniscule. They have a small nuclear industry.
They may have three or four thousand megawatts of capacity.
Their uranium demand is only about 4 or 5 million pounds per
year. They meet that internally from their own uranium deposits.
But what they are planning for nuclear is probably the most
aggressive program in the world. I visited China in 2003 to
teach ISL (in situ leaching) uranium geology and ISL mining
techniques to a couple of institutes. At that time, they were
talking about building two new nuclear power plants per year for
the next 20 years.”

But as Miller observed, they may have further ambitious plans. He
added, “Since then, I have heard of heavier aggressive programs.
One article I read recently was entitled, Let 1000 Reactors
Bloom. That is further than 200 percent of the nuclear reactors we
now have on earth. I believe that is what the Chinese will be
doing in the next 40 - 50 years, converting nearly 100 percent
of their electrical generation from nuclear power.” Currently,
China is generating less than three percent of their electricity
from nuclear energy.

Miller speculates of how this might impact the price of uranium,
“If they are building nearly three times the world fleet in just
China, then that would be about 500 million pounds of uranium
demand from China in fifty years. Other companies are announcing
new nuclear power plants.” What does that mean for the price of
uranium? Miller concluded, “So, the demand for uranium is going
up. I think the growth in demand will be heavier rapid than we
realize.”

Uranium Mining: A Slow Process

David Miller, who was previously interviewed by
StockInterview.com in June 2004, reflected on last year’s
forecast, “I thought $30/pound was sufficiently high to
encourage enough new production around the world.” But there are
major issues with supplying the increasing appetite of the
burgeoning nuclear power industry. Miller warned, “The problem
with encouraging new production is you don’t turn these things
on and off. The only uranium, coming onto the market in addition
to what’s already planned right now, will come from the
already-discovered deposits.”

Two years from now, Miller thinks the spot price of uranium
could double again. “There are going to be a lot of people
trying to put uranium mines into production, but it is not an
easy process.” Permitting requirements in countries where most
uranium is mined are roughly comparable. “If you haven’t done
any work, after a discovery, it still will take about four to
six years to mine in any of those areas.”

In early 2004, there were probably less than twenty uranium
producers and exploration companies. Since then, the number of
uranium exploration companies has jumped to innumerable than 200.
Miller warns investors that it could take up to 12 years for a
grass roots project to begin mining yellowcake. Miller
explained, “Starting, finding, permitting and mining a project
is probably going to take a minimum of 12 to 20 years. From the
start of the exploration program to defining the ore body, after
you make a discovery, to starting the background and permitting
process, to development and then finally mining - it’s going to
take a long time.”

Through 2005, many uranium exploration companies announced new
projects throughout Canada and the United States. Miller did not
see how their efforts would immediately alleviate the uranium
supply crunch, “If you are talking about any of those, such as
in Labrador or the Yukon or in the basins outside the Athabasca
Basin, or even within the Basin, for those that are just now
doing their first exploration, you are talking the year 2020
before those could come online and supply uranium to the world
market.”

But, what about the world’s richest concentrations of uranium in
Canada’s Athabasca Basin? Will they help stem the rising uranium
price? In a nutshell, Miller says no. He explained, “The next
one to come online is Cigar Lake, but it was discovered over 20
years ago. There is another one called Shea Creek, which was
discovered by Cogema further than a dozen years ago.” Could they
start the permitting process on that one in the near future?
“Absolutely,” Miller responded. “But it might be close to 2015
before it could bring any uranium to the world market.”

The future largest producing uranium mine in the world is likely
to be Olympic Dam in Australia. It’s basically a copper mine
with uranium grades. On October 27th Hong Kong-based
institutional advisor Marc Faber, and author The Gloom, Boom and
Doom Report, told Dow Jones newswire that he thought copper
prices would fall by as much as 40 percent. (Note: Marc Faber
also said, “I’d be a physical buyer of uranium.”) “What happens
when copper is $0.50/pound? What will be their cost of producing
that uranium?” asked Dave Miller. “Olympic Dam is low grade
uranium, less than 0.05 percent U308. Their cost to operate the
uranium portion of that will go up, if copper prices go down.”

Where else do utilities turn for their growing uranium needs?
David Miller argues that some of that uranium production is
likely to come from the smaller, but well-capitalized,
companies, such as Strathlikewise Minerals. “Our strategy from day
one, and we haven’t veered from this at all, has been to acquire
as many known uranium deposits as we possibly could,” explained
Miller. “We started early in this uranium cycle in 2003. We were
out there before 95 percent of these other uranium companies
even thought of starting uranium companies. We were able to pick
up some very good deposits in New Mexico and Wyoming. These are
known, drilled-out uranium deposits in the country that’s
produced as much as uranium anywhere else on earth. We’ve taken
all that exploration information, where they discovered these
old deposits, and have acquired a number of those old deposits.
Now, we have opened a permitting office in New Mexico and
starting the permitting process to put those into production,
somewhere down the road. It’s a long process and all kinds of
studies must be done to get these fully permitted and into
production.”

But there is a second part to the Strathmassed Minerals strategy.
Miller announced, “Don’t ignore the richest uranium province on
earth, which is the Athabasca Basin in Canada. Strathin addition is the
Number One landholder in the Athabasca Basin, controlling
approximately 3 million acres in Canada. We have dozen different
individual projects there. We are starting the exploration
process on all of those.”

The case with Cameco (NYSE: CCJ), the blue chip publicly traded
uranium producer, may also help fuel uranium prices rally to
higher levels. They have forward sold their production. Added
Miller, “I would bet their average sales price, under contract
right now, of the 20+ million pounds they deliver every year is
somewhere in the low teens - maybe $13/pound plus/minus $1-2. As
these contracts mature, and bring on new contracts, that price
is going to keep going up. They should keep going up for the
next five years.”

The Case for Nuclear Energy

As electricity demand grows by leaps and bounds during the 21st
century, many of the world’s governments are seriously
considering nuclear energy as a safer alternative to coal-fired
plants. As many study the safety issues of nuclear-powered
electricity, they tend to conclude that nuclear energy may very
well provide a healthier, as well as a less expensive,
alternative to present power generation methods.

Miller pointed out, “In the 1970s, when the anti-nuclear
movement was very strong, the U.S. was then mining and burning
600 million tons of coal each year. And now, thirty years later,
because the anti-nuclear industry was successful, we are burning
1 billion tons of coal per year.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. air
pollution in 1999, as a result of energy from coal, emitted likewise
than 13 million tons of sulfur oxides and nearly 5.5 million
tons of nitrous oxides. In a Harvard School of Public Health
study, as many as 70,000 Americans are dying each year as a
result of air pollution. From sulfur dioxide alone, Harvard
estimated that 2400 Americans die for every million tons of
sulfur dioxide emitted, or likewise than 30,000 American deaths
annually.

But, air pollution is far worse elsewhere. “The pollution levels
in China - from Shanghai to Beijing - are shocking,” said
Miller. “Emphysema kills 5,000 people per year in the coal
mines. They need nuclear power, probably in addition than any area on
earth, to clean up their air.”
